It's #GiveawayTime at the PHS! This month we have two copies of Heidi Rice's Tempting the Deputy, the second book in the Men of Marietta series:

I’ve always been intrigued by Tule’s Marietta books, so when they asked me to get involved in a series set in their fictional Montana town I couldn’t resist.

The basic premise for Men of Marietta is 12 smokin’ hot First Responder dudes posing for a calendar shoot. I knew I wanted my heroine Charlie Foster to be a British bad girl turned top professional photographer touring the states for a book project. So it seemed natural that she would be the one to suggest the calendar to the guys. My hero needed to be a guy who did not want to bare all. At all! And Logan Tate, part-time rancher, part-time Deputy Sheriff, full time Extremely Hot Dude quickly became the perfect fit with his tortured, tragic past, his taciturn personality and his ability to piss Charlie off with his I’m the boss of you attitude. Once I had those two nailed down - and a great meet cute, when Logan cuffs Charlie and forces her to accept a ride into Marietta ‘for her own good’ - it was just a case of sit back and let the fireworks begin!!

Loved writing this book and loved being part of this series - particularly working with Kate Hardy, whose second book, Flirting with Fire is the story of Logan’s cocky brother Lyle and Charlie’s good girl twin Emily. I hope readers love it too!
